The digital storytelling project was so much fun! It really allowed me to use my love of telling stories and my creativity. I have used Windows Movie Maker in the past in order to create slideshows for personal use and I was surprised at how easy it was to add narration.
This is an assignment I would certainly give to my students in my future practice. Instead of simply writing a story on paper, they can also express their stories through speaking and enhance their stories through the creative use of images. This will be a very appealing assignment to digital natives.

Wow!! Mary, that was a great digital story. I am currently finishing my own digital story, and I wish that I had looked at yours before. You definitely do seem to have a knack for telling good stories. :o) Your students will be lucky to have you as a teacher. It seems as though your mother was correct.....you should be a teacher.

ReplyDeleteGreat digital story Mary! Loved the music and the smooth transitions with the pictures! I had the same experience with my mother. I guess the term, "Your Mother always knows best" is so true!
ReplyDeleteThis was an excellent digital story! It was very interesting and I agree with Carolyn, you do seem to have a knack for telling stories! I also agree that this is a great assignment for students and I too had fun making my digital story. =)
